Lava powers a trustless market for RPC data access. The protocol governs over peer to peer and private Provider-Application pairings, ensuring high quality RPC service while creating consensus around data served. Payments are conducted off-chain and settled on-chain in aggregate for efficiency. Node runners earn income by providing RPC service and contributing towards decentralization; developers access accurate blockchain data, without fear of scalability issues, privacy exploitation or censorship.

Main Goal

Power a market for blockchain data with aligned token incentives and an open-source protocol for RPC nodes and APIs.

Use Case

Once you open an account in Lava, you can create a project and insert there different api accesses for different chains, without needing to go to the main chain in a centralised process. You you can chose an endpoint, and the command that you need to stake is generated automatically.  You don’t communicate with the chain directly with your credentials, but with a hash created by Lava, and you can take that command and use it everywhere in your app to compete in the blockchain, or you can use it with Lava protocol. They don’t store your credentials but just the hash that is generated from the encryption, which can’t be used by anyone. And you have different portals to see all the statistics you need.
